BAILE is a video work that explores the integration of light, time and Latin Culture. The artist dances over a colourful moving projection that casts another dancing shadow. Her movements are slowed and at times reversed, as if the skirt and the dancer are taking turns pulling one another. BAILE highlights the beauty of traditional South American Dance whilst also crafting a meditative and peaceful state.
